Forest grown mushrooms take years to produce using traditional production techniques. They fruit with the rhythms of nature but produce deep flavours, firm textures and powerful medicinal components which enhance the human immune system. Trie grows a range of these mushrooms in our forest which are coveted by area chefs and are available on a first come basis. If you would like to be on our email notification list for mushrooms, ephemerals & seasonal products, please sign up in the contact section.
Bag Grown
Bag grown mushrooms are prepared, grown and fruited indoors under controlled conditions. Trie produces three types of mushrooms (Shitake, Maitake and Lions Mane), all of which are highly nutritious and have immune boosting properties.

Chip Bed Grown
Chip bed production is done in our forest gardens and forest. These mushrooms like our forest grown mushrooms are available via the email notification list.
Dried
Dried mushrooms are essential for chefs looking to enhance stocks and deepen mushroom flavours.
DIY & dowls
Forest (shade) production of saprophytic (wood eating) mushrooms is not complicated but rather a labour of love. Producing these healthy and delicious organisms is a win win scenario for everyone and the environment. We provide inoculated dowl kits made from various target trie species for our local area. We believe this helps ensure the best adapted mycelium. We suggest that everyone interested should read the book Myceliuym Running by Paul Stammets. Links to many other pioneering companies is provided on our contact page.
